  • Steamed Artichoke, Cajun Style
    Steamed Artichoke
    Ingredients
    • 1 fresh artichoke - rinsed
    • Olive oil
    • your favorite Cajun Seasoning
    • 1 lemon
    Preparation time: 1 minute
    Cooking time: 5 minutes
    Serves 2

    Directions

    1. Trim off the top and the stem ( rub the cut off stem with lemon juice to prevent discoloration, optional).

    2. Open up the petals and drizzle with olive oil and Cajun seasoning

    3. Place artichoke in a medium Steamfast bag

    4. Seal the bag and place in microwave

    5. Cook on HIGH for 5 minutes

    6. Allow bag to stand 1 minute before handling

    7. Carefully open bag and pour out content


    Tip: After removing from bag dip individual petals in mayo and lemon juice and Enjoy!

    Ingredients
    • 10oz Fresh Zucchini – sliced thick
    • Olive oil
    • Cajun seasoning (optional)
    • Mayo (optional)
    • Lemon juice (optional)

    Directions

    1. Combine all ingredients in a medium Steamfast bag

    • ½ tsp. crushed ginger
    • 1 garlic clove, peeled and chopped or ½ tsp. crushed garlic

    • 2 tbsp. toasted flaked Almonds

    Broccoli steams beautifully remaining bright green in color, crisp and full of nutrients. The ginger and garlic blend into the butter as it melts over the broccoli making it a delicious side dish for any meal.
